The 2019 Walk

This year, the 7th Annual 2018 Annual Baby Steps Walk to Remember will take place on Sunday, September 22nd, 2019. We will gather and and walk at the beautiful and scenic Alberta Legislature Grounds overlooking the River Valley. The address is 10800 97 Avenue. There are several parking lots and some street parking. Transit is close by as well. The registration table will open right at 1:00 p.m. and the formal program will begin soon after. Our planning committee is busy creating a beautiful afternoon with special guest speakers, activities for children and a heartfelt ceremony, where each baby will be recognized by all in attendance.

We hope you and your family and friends will join us. Please pre-register by filling out the online registration form on the front page or the same form on the "contact us" page. It is extremely helpful to our planning committee if you register ahead of time as the day of The Walk is very busy. If you are not sure you will be able to attend, but would like your baby(ies) to be honored, please still register. If in the end you can't come, know that your baby(ies) will be recognized both in word and in speech. You may also contact our office at heartsbabyloss@shaw.ca or by leaving a voice mail at 780.464.3217. All family members and friends are welcome to attend.

Would you like to help us out? We can always use an extra set of hands. Tasks range from tiny to large and everything in between. We will be having a working "bee" at our centre in Sherwood Park ~ watch our website and Facebook page for the date to be announced. If you can help out then or on the day of the walk, send an email or call our office. We've love to have your support!
