The Baby Steps Walk to Remember is an Annual Event hosted by the BriarPatch Family Life Education Centre. The BriarPatch is the recipient of an event grant from the County Clothes~Foundation and grief support funding from Strathcona County Family and Community Services, as well as individual and family donors in our beautiful community. The BriarPatch is grateful for these precious funds which have helped our organization greatly.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, our staff, our volunteers and all our clients, it is an honor and a privilege to acknowledge that our event, our programs and our office we are all accessible for all on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting ground, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux (So-toe), Blackfoot, Métis, Dene (De-nay) and Nakota Sioux (Sue). We acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries. With grace and humility, we work hard to preserve our spaces with appreciation for those who created them. Hi~Hi.
