I/We understand that the 2024 Baby Steps Walk to Remember has ensured that the safety and well- being of all participants will be upheld to the best of the abilities of the volunteer committee, the staff, the governing body, and the Board of Directors. The BriarPatch Family Life Education Centre and the H.E.A.R.T.S. Baby Loss Support Program are NOT responsible for any injury, accident and/or death prior to, during and/or after the event that involves myself and/or my family or friends who attend with me. I/We accept all responsibility for our own actions and well-being for all members of our family attending this event in person. I/We have read this agreement and acknowledge all the above information as recognition of my/our understanding and will take full responsibility for my/our actions and well-being.

The BriarPatch Family Life Education Centre is a Registered Canadian Charity and relies on grants, sponsorships and donations to offer free programming to all participants who have been touched by the loss of a precious baby during pregnancy or any time after birth. If you wish to make a donation towards the costs of the 2024 Baby Steps Walk to Remember OR our baby loss counselling program OR our children’s grief program OR for our Annual Retreat OR our AnnualCandle Light Memorial Service, please complete the envelope that will be available at the Walk. Donations can also be made online OR sent into our office. All donations receive a Letter of Gratitude, as well as an Official Tax Receipt for your records.
